Room Tour - Part One

It's so awesome to be back! Anywho, I recently gave my room a makeover, so I decided to post some pictures. Let me know what you think!

I'm not so proud of my photography skills, and my old iPhone is a bit lackluster in the camera aspect. However, I did the best I could. Anyway, yes-- that is my handwriting on these photos. My handwriting is not actually as bad as portrayed on this blog post, it's just that I'm still getting used to my tablet. Haha.
So, I have a fishtank on the left and my desk on the right. I decided not to post any pictures of my bed, closet (not really a closet, I just call it that), and bookshelf because I'm still organizing. Forgive me! I'm making a lot of excuses today. ;p

I have my Macbook Air on a lower shelf and my Windows on top (since I can't stuff it anywhere else.. obviously, haha). If anyone is wondering what the little black cage-thing is behind my monitor, it's where I keep my water bottles. However, it's being used temporarily as candy storage. ;p

This little corner of my desk is where I keep my basic and most frequently used art supplies. I have a whole shelf full of my other art supplies, but that hot mess will be saved for Part Two. ;)

I drew a cute little face on my jade plant pot. :D

Moving on to the fish tank. (Which is new, by the way. Yay!) The fish tank I have is called a Fluval Edge, which I got on sale at a local pet store. (Saving money, woohoo!) It holds 6 gallons, and comes in 3 different colors-- black, white, and grey. I currently have 3 neon tetras, 1 otocinclus catfish (above), and 2 red gold tuxedo fish. I used to have 4 neons, but one died.. hm.. (It wasn't my fault, I swear!)

Do you know how hard it is to photograph the red gold tuxedo fish? Since they're guppies, they're especially active.
That's about it for Part One. I hope you enjoyed (and that I didn't bore you). Any comments? Questions? If anyone else is planning on remodeling their room, let me know! It's a super fun experience. Have a great day, everyone. :)

  1. Really cool room! The design is nice, especially the fishtank next to the study table :)
By the way, I've followed your blog. Mind checking out mine?
